Iridescent Moon Rules & Guidelines.

Iridescent Moon is an online forum with policies that ALL Members are expected to follow. We do insist that you abide by the rules, policies, and guidelines of this board. Be an active member. Iridescent Moon is a community and requires members input to help us grow.

MOON MEMBER REQUIREMENT
All new moons need to take a moment to read the rules and make a meaningful introduction. One word replies or emote only replies will NOT be accepted.

POSTING
01. Don't post emote only replies.
02. Don't post one word replies or abbreviated words, for example, ty instead of thank you.
03. Always reply to posts with courtesy & always respect the other members of the board.
04. NO impolite, negative, or derogatory posts. They will be removed without warning.
05. This is an English language board. All posts are to be made in English or must have a complete English Translation so that the English speaking members can understand you.
06. Use the search feature before posting.
07. Don't make double posts. Should an accidental double post occur alert a Staff Member immediately.
08. Post in the correct section.
09. Do Not post any other offending content. No profane, racist, sexist or homophobic remarks will be permitted.
10. Do Not post any sort of political or religious remarks, as this forum is a multicultural one.


LINKS & IMAGES
01. Code your links for Youtube and the like. Put / or - or * or = in front of the link or highlight the link and use the code button.
02. DO NOT hotlink our images to any other site. Use your own hosting service such as Photobucket or Imageshack.
03. Hot links are not allowed in signatures, avatars, or any other image on this board.
04. ALL hot linked signatures, avatars, and other images will be REMOVED IMMEDIATELY without warning.
05. All images MUST be uploaded to a hosting service such as Imageshack, Photobucket, etc. first.
06. Do Not use porn in signatures or avatars. This includes half covered nude men or women or any other unsuitable graphic imagery including links to such materials.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All images MUST be uploaded to a hosting service such as Imageshack, Photobucket, etc. Do NOT post images from the websites of companies or forums. We will no longer be replacing your non-hosted images. All non-hosted images will be removed and no notice given.

ADVERTISING:
DO NOT advertise other boards unless you own the board and you have received prior approval from the ADMIN. This includes RSS Feeds, links embedded in images, as well as any links contained within signatures. YOU MUST HAVE ADMIN APPROVAL otherwise ALL links will be DELETED by ADMIN!!!

IMMEDIATE BAN IF YOU REPEATEDLY BREAK ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING RULES:
01. NO SPAMMING the board. Spam can be considered as: posting a large number of posts within a short period of time to gain status on the board; posting a link for money making purposes; advertisements of material you are trying to promote, or another site; posting useless information or other objectionable material to be determined by Admin.
02. NO LEECHING. Leeching is the practice of benefiting, usually deliberately, from others' information or effort but not offering anything in return, or only token offerings in an attempt to avoid being called a leech.
03. NO FLAMING. Flaming is the act of sending or posting messages that are deliberately hostile and insulting.
04. NO PROFANE LANGUAGE.
05. NO PORN.

GENERAL/OTHER:
01. Use the "Report Button" to report posts or to make a report to a moderator if you think someone is violating the rules.
02. If you have a problem with another member on the Forum, use a Personal Message (PM) to inform Admin about the situation and we will solve it.
03. Violations will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
04. Do Not argue with the Staff. It can lead to the immediate suspension of your account.
05. The decision of Admin is final.
06. Don't hesitate to ask for advice or assistance, we have a fantastic team.

The Staff is not required to inform you if any of your posts, images, etc. are deleted. If you find something deleted it is because you violated one of the rules or old posts were removed to make room for newer "up-to-date" posts.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:
01. The Administrator & Moderators may edit, delete, move, and/or close any posts they deem necessary, without prior warning.
02. The Administrator may remove Moderators access for not fulfilling duties, abusing position, etc.
03. The Administrator can modify the rules as situations warrant and without prior warning.
04. Any abuse to the Administrator/Moderators can result in an immediate account suspension or ban from the board without warning.
05. Any Member receiving an abusive PM is to notify the Site Owner IMMEDIATELY.
06. All Members including the Administrator and Moderators can have posts deleted.

NOTE: This list is subject to change without notice. As a Member it is your responsibility to review the rules for any changes on a regular basis. Posts, signatures, avatars, images, etc. can be deleted without warning by Admin at any time.

All connections to this site are logged. If you do not like this policy, disconnect now! Violations or abuse will result in a loss of privileges for your account.
